Project description:

As part of this project, the thermal insulation of a 700 m² roof was carried out using advanced ThermIQ Roof technology. The aim was to significantly reduce the heating of the roof surface and improve working conditions in offices located under the roof.

results:

Temperature comparison:

• Before insulation (uncoated roof side): 54.1°C
• After insulation (coated roof side): 28.5°C
• Reducing roof temperature: 25.6°C

Effects on the building:

The reduced roof temperature led to a noticeable improvement in the indoor climate in the offices directly under the roof. Employees reported significantly better working conditions, even without additional cooling through air conditioning systems.

Conclusion:

By using ThermIQ technology, it was possible to significantly reduce the surface temperature of the roof. This not only improved thermal comfort in the building, but also increased energy efficiency, which led to a reduction in energy consumption.
